Golfing Facilities
In addition to the
27 holes of golf
available at the
Kendleshire, we have
a number of
additions to enhance
your time with us,
as a member or a
visitor.
The Zone

Opened in 2006 the
Zone is our
purpose-built short
game area. Centred
on a three-layer
green built to the
same exacting
standards as the
renowned greens on
the golf course,
this facility gives
the golfer practice
opportunities using
the three bunkers -
set at different
distances from the
green, including a
revetted pot bunker
- and a multitude of
grass types and
lies. Membership of
the Zone is in
addition to the
standard membership
packages.
The Academy
Course

Fancy a warm-up
before your round?
Or have you got a
particular approach
shot you need to
hone? The Academy
Course is a 6-hole,
par 3 pitch and putt
course ideal for
just these needs. At
375yds the course is
ideal for the
beginner right
through to the
single-figure
handicapper. A large
bunker and a
sleeper-lined water
hazard bring echoes
of the championship
golf course and the
surrounding grass is
cut to fairway
level. Use of the
Academy Course is
free to members and
costs £1.50 to
visitors.
The Putting
Greens

We have two large
putting greens, one
either side of the
clubhouse adjacent
to the 1st and 10th
tees. Built at the
same time, and using
the same design, as
the greens on the
championship course,
the putting greens
show the same level
of maturity and
match the conditions
of the main greens,
allowing valuable
warm-up prior to
your round.
The Driving Range

Our practice range
is open throughout
the year. Grass tees
and a 275yd landing
area with target
zones and flags
combine to a popular
facility. We also
now have a DryRainge
for practicing in
all weathers.
Tokens for range
balls are available
from the Pro Shop,
currently at £2.50
for 50 balls, whilst
savings can be made
through purchasing
multi-token swipe
cards.
Tuition
We have five PGA
professionals based
at the club,
specialising in a
number of areas. For
more information
please see
The Academy page.
Golf Buggies

During dry months,
typically late March
to early November,
we operate a large
fleet of electric
buggies for hire to
relieve the strain.
All fitted with the
latest ProLink GPS
navigation systems,
these buggies will
give you accurate
distance and hole
information as you
move around the
course, and can keep
a digital scorecard.
The Halfway House
For those moments on
the course when you
need a pick-me-up
bite to eat or a
brief respite the
Halfway House is on
hand. Located near
the main lake it's
available after the
10th green and the
17th green for hot
or cold snacks and
hot or cold drinks.
We also have the
facility to
telephone through
your order in
advance so that it's
ready as you get
there.
